This unique salsa recipe uses green tomatoes instead of red ones!
Ingredients
*1 lg. white onion *2 fresh habanero peppers *8 med. green tomatoes *1 bunch fresh cilantro *2 tsp. salt *1 tsp. black pepper
Directions
Remove skin from onion and chop into 1/4-inch pieces. Remove stems from peppers and chop into 1/4-inch pieces. Remove stems from green tomatoes and place tomatoes in a food processor or blender. Blend on medium setting for 30 seconds. Roughly chop cilantro so pieces are about 1/2-inch long. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours before using.
