This isn't your typical tomato salsa- it has a citrus twist to it!
Ingredients
*3 lg. ripe tomatoes *1 med. white onion *3 garlic cloves *1 fresh jalapeno pepper *1/4 tsp. fresh cilantro *1/4 C. lime juice *1 tsp. lemon juice *1 Tbs. dry cooking white wine *1 tsp. chili powder *1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions
Cut tomatoes into 1/4-inch pieces. Remove skins from onion and garlic, then mince. Remove stem and seeds from the pepper and cut into 1/4-inch pieces. Chop cilantro into 1/8-inch pieces. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well-mixed. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
