Nine Layer Mexican Dip PDF Print E-mail

Excellent dish for party or any meal as an appetizer. Chilling day before enhances the flavor. If you prefer more spice, use hotter picante sauce, depending on your preference.


Ingredients

* 1 can refried beans
* 1 pt. sour cream
* 1 container guacamole dip
* 1 sm. can chopped green chilies
* 1 sm. can sliced or chopped black olives
* 1 lg. tomato, diced
* 1 bunch green onions, diced
* 1 lg. jar of picante sauce (mild, med, or hot as desired)
* 2 C. grated cheddar cheese
* (Reserve 1 Tbs. of chilies and olives to garnish the top of cheese)

Directions

Layer all ingredients in the order listed in large glass dish, such as 9x13-inch baking dish. Reserve about a Tbs. of green onions and olives to sprinkle on top of the cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and chill, preferable overnight, or at least 4 hours. Serve with dipping chips.
